The long read
Dunlop Tour Squash Racket in depth
The Dunlop Squash Racket Tour is built for players who want dependable performance without straying from the fundamentals that make a squash racket effective on court. Constructed with a durable frame that balances lightweight maneuverability with enough stability to handle powerful drives and delicate drop shots alike, this racket suits intermediate players looking to sharpen their game or club-level competitors who need a reliable tool for regular match play. Dunlop's engineering background in racket sports shines through in the frame's construction, offering a blend of control and forgiveness that helps players maintain consistency during long rallies.
Excellent balance between power and control— Court notes, 17 sessions / 23h
The head shape and string pattern of the Tour model are designed to maximize the sweet spot, giving players more confidence when striking the ball slightly off-center during fast-paced exchanges. The balance point leans toward maneuverability, allowing for quick reaction volleys at the front of the court while still providing enough weight behind the head to generate pace on straight kills and cross-court boasts. Grip comfort is also a priority, with a handle designed to reduce fatigue during extended sessions, which is especially valuable during tournament play or intense training drills where racket control can deteriorate as matches wear on.
Beyond the on-court performance, the Dunlop Squash Racket Tour reflects the brand's long-standing reputation for producing accessible yet performance-oriented equipment within the tennis and racket sports category. It suits players transitioning from beginner-level frames who want something more responsive, without jumping into the premium price bracket reserved for professional-tier rackets. The Tour model represents a practical middle ground, offering enough technology and craftsmanship to support skill development while remaining affordable for players building a long-term commitment to squash.

Great club racket for the price
I've been using this for six months now in my weekly league matches. The power behind shots is noticeably better than my old beginner racket, and the grip stays comfortable even during long rallies. Highly recommend for intermediate players.

Solid performer, minor string issues
The frame feels sturdy and the balance is great for driving shots deep into the court. Only complaint is the stock strings wore out faster than expected, but restringing fixed that easily.

Good upgrade from entry-level
Made the jump from a basic starter racket to this one and immediately felt the difference in shot power. Takes some adjustment due to the head-heavy feel but overall very satisfied with the purchase.

Decent but not exceptional
It's a fine racket for casual play but I found it a bit heavy for quick reflex shots at the front of the court. Works well for baseline power players though.
