This skirt has become my go-to for tournaments. The built-in shorts stay put even during aggressive lateral movement, and the fabric never feels heavy even after two hours on court.

The Nike Dri-FIT Tennis Skirt delivers reliable performance for competitive and recreational players alike, combining sweat-wicking comfort with a functional built-in short. While sizing runs small and pricing sits at a premium, its durability and on-court practicality make it a solid investment for tennis enthusiasts.
The Nike Dry Fit Tennis Skirt is engineered specifically for the demands of competitive and recreational tennis, combining Nike's signature moisture-wicking technology with a silhouette built for unrestricted movement on the court. Crafted from a lightweight polyester-spandex blend, the fabric pulls sweat away from the skin during intense rallies and long baseline exchanges, keeping players cool and dry even during three-set matches under summer heat. The flared A-line cut allows for explosive lateral movement when chasing down drop shots or sprinting to the net, while the built-in compression shorts underneath offer both modesty and support during high knee lifts and overhead serves.

Beyond its performance fabric, this tennis skirt features a hidden waistband pocket designed to hold a second tennis ball, letting players keep extra balls within reach without breaking their serving rhythm—a detail specifically appreciated by serious singles and doubles competitors who value efficiency between points. The elastic waistband sits comfortably at the natural waist, providing a secure, non-slip fit through dynamic movements like split-step footwork and quick directional changes, while flatlock seams reduce chafing during extended play sessions on hard courts, clay, or grass. The skirt's length strikes a deliberate balance between coverage and range of motion, meeting ITF and USTA tournament dress expectations for women's competitive tennis apparel.
Available in a range of solid colors and Nike's seasonal tennis prints, this skirt pairs seamlessly with performance polos or fitted tank tops from Nike's tennis line, making it a versatile piece for both match day and practice sessions. Its quick-dry properties mean it transitions well from a morning clinic to an afternoon match without needing a change of outfit, and the fabric resists the salt buildup and odor common in heavy-sweat sports. Whether worn by a club-level player working on serve mechanics or a tournament competitor grinding through a demanding draw, the Nike Dry Fit Tennis Skirt delivers the functional performance and on-court confidence that racket sport athletes expect from Nike's tennis-specific apparel line.

Had to exchange for a size up, but once I did, the fit was excellent. The ball pocket is a nice touch and the Dri-FIT fabric really does keep sweat away.
I've washed this skirt dozens of times and it still looks new. The waistband held up well and the material hasn't pilled at all.
Lightweight, breathable, and the compression shorts underneath give me confidence during serves. Worth every penny for serious players.
Performance is solid, but I wish it was priced a bit lower. Still, the moisture-wicking fabric works as advertised during long practice sessions.
